New look. Same GreenGeeks. Built for what’s next.
Today, GreenGeeks has a new logo, a redesigned website, and a refreshed visual identity. If you’ve been a customer for a while, you’ll notice the difference immediately. What you won’t notice, because it hasn’t changed, is everything that actually matters.

We didn’t bring in outside capital. We didn’t change leadership. We didn’t pivot the business. We decided our brand needed to catch up with the company we’ve spent 17 years building.
Why it was time
When GreenGeeks was founded in 2008, helping a business get online was a fairly defined thing: pick a plan, point your domain, and you’re live. Today, I watch our 55,000+ customers do something far more varied, launching WordPress sites, running WooCommerce stores, deploying applications, experimenting with AI-powered tools, hosting open-source projects. Use cases we didn’t have words for when we started.
From the operations side, I see this clearly. The infrastructure we run, the support volume we handle, the range of what we’re asked to power, the company has long since outgrown the brand that represented it. This rebrand is us catching up.
The barriers to creating online have never been lower. The question is who you trust to stand behind you when you do.
On sustainability
GreenGeeks has matched 300% of our energy consumption with renewable energy credits for over a decade and have planted over 50,000 trees globally since we started the tree planting initiative in 2021. I want to say this plainly: it’s not a tagline. It’s an operating constraint, the same way uptime SLAs or response time targets are. We built the business around it.
As AI and compute demand accelerate, the energy footprint of the internet is growing faster than ever. Our commitment isn’t softening, and the new brand gives us more room to talk about it honestly, which is what it deserves.
What’s not changing
- The same team, same people, same expert knowledge
- 24/7 expert support with the response times you’re used to
- 300% renewable energy matching + tree planting as it’s always been
- The performance and reliability benchmarks we’ve held for years
- The mission: help customers succeed online, whatever they’re building
What this opens up
A brand should communicate what a company believes, not just what it sells. Ours now reflects that GreenGeeks is a platform, built for whatever you’re creating, however you’re building it. A portfolio site, a high-traffic store, an application, something that doesn’t fit a clean category yet.
Whatever you create, GreenGeeks is here to help bring it online. That’s been true since day one. The new look just makes it easier to say.
More than anything, I look forward to delivering a platform that gives every customer, whatever they’re building, a real shot at succeeding online. That’s what this is about.
